Lauren Barner MSN, RN, CPNP
Who is Lauren?
Lauren was born and raised in Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University. She went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has been caring for children in central Texas for almost 20 years. She is dedicated to providing high quality, evidence based and compassionate care to her patients and their families.
Lauren keeps busy outside of work with her own four children, ages 9 to 17 years old. She loves to cheer on her children at sporting events, spend time outside, and run. She is thrilled to join the team at Chisolm Trail Pediatrics.
The Professional Side
Lauren has a special interest in encouraging mothers with breastfeeding. She is a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. She is also bilingual and speaks Spanish. She counts it an honor to serve patients and their families while watching them grow and develop.
Lauren is set to be at our new Round Rock location when we open up later this year. Currently, she is practicing in the Liberty Hill location.
Favorite moment
The best part of my job is watching children grow and developing relationships with families.

Don’t hesitate to ask for help and speak up when you feel like something is not quite right or wrong with your child.
